In this report we present full year blended ARPU data for 83 operators worldwide, 50 operators across Europe as well as 10 operators in emerging markets. The report also includes a commentary throughout featuring:
- A breakdown of monthly postpay and prepay ARPU for 57 and 56 operators (respectively);
- An analysis of the contribution of non-voice revenues (including and excluding SMS) to average blended ARPU;
- A measure of the effect of 3G customers on blended ARPU and non-voice ARPU;
- A year-on-year ARPU comparison of mobile operators' ARPU performance highlighting the top and bottom 8 performers.
- Trends in Minutes of Use (MoU) betweeen 2007 and 2009
- Trends in average blended, postpay and prepay ARPU since 2006.
Finally, this year's benchmarks also include a European Average Index which has been calculated based on the average blended ARPU values since 2006. In the report, we compare the Blended ARPU European Average Index to national average and individual operators from France, Germany, Spain and the UK.
